    This brings back some memories...

Found this short video today. I had one just like it, a 1974 I bought in 1980. Certainly the quickest car I ever owned and I had a 3Ltr Capri before it. Effortless performance from the big V12 with single figure MPG on the commute but I did once get 15 on a restrained run down to Santa...

    New tyre time?

The tyres on the LC are now 12 years old but still with a lot of tread left. I noticed some further deterioration today, obviously helped by some kerb scrubbing but that's my bad! I asked the MOT guy last September about the fine, peripheral age cracking and he said it's not an issue but this...

    New Ford Capri...

Don't reckon much to the new Capri, even ignoring the fact that it's an EV. New Capri The Capri is a car I have a big soft spot for being my first in 1978. This is a proper Capri, 1975 3000GT. Yummy?:icon-biggrin: No idea where it is now or if it's still on the road.

    RIP Johnnie Walker..

.........who passed away today. One of the few "proper" radio DJ's left IMO. I was, still am, a big fan of his "Sounds of the 70's" show on R2 Sunday afternoons. It was a sad day when he was forced to step down in October due to illness but on the plus side I can't think of anyone more...

    Spring recomendations...

I'm after some F&R springs to replace the tired originals, now 26yr old with 138k miles under their belt. It's a standard 80 and I want to keep original ride height and restore the ride quality it once had. To that end I intended to buy OEM Toyota springs via Amayama but they now are coming in...

    Swift Azzura Caravan...

Anyone interested in a sound caravan...cheap. Model as title, 1994, supposedly 6 berth. I bought it in 2006 but not used since October 2019 due to personal circumstances. It's currently in secure storage and needs a good wash but everything works. Open to offers and can post photos if interested.

Don't fancy having the LC bombarded with these! We had the conservatory roof damaged by stones much smaller than this last year. As the LC lives on the drive I've got a couple of bits of old carpet ready in the garage to throw over it if storms are forcast. Hailstone damage.
