How cool does this sound?
250cc V8. I want the time and know-how to do things like this :)
Took him 4 years.

I do like the line towards the middle where some guy says "jeus, dit klink better as my bakkie"

That's a joy. Comes a close second to the Italian and the Ferrari. What amazes me is the sound, just like the full size version, miniaturised.

isn't the idle fantastic? Sounds very cool.

I wonder what they output of that is. He'll probably mount it on a shelf and start the next project :)

8-10 hp at a guess.

Moto Guzzi produced and raced a 500cc DOHC V8 back in the 50's which produced about 80bhp and wasn't much bigger than that but I guess they had a much bigger R&D budget:lol:. It had some reliability problems though and Guzzi ceased development when they withdrew from racing.

I have a BBC 12" vinyl "Sound Story" of the Isle of Man TT in '57 I think. Dickie Dale rode the Guzzi V8 and the sound it made was fantastic.
As you say, some reliability problems and it was a "Guzzi V7 as often as not .

It was on show at the "Bristol Classic bike Show" in 2013, now owned by The Sammy Miller Museum, I believe :

That is so cool, would love to have both time and know how to make something like that. Must have cost a fair bit too
