looks like it has some rust, and new fuel tank recently, so likely to be rusty underneath too - esp here in Aberdeen

I bought a 60 from a forum member in Aberdeen, and to be fair for a 25 year old truck it was better than average. But I know what you mean about the rust and more than average salt. A 17 year old truck is going to have rust issues if it has seen 17 winters without regular rinsing of the underside which with most cars just doesn't happen.

i bought my LC in glasgow and turbo forester from way down south - deliberately

Mine came from Aberdeen but it was originally from Manchester area, was up that way for just over 2 years but was well checked for rust and given a good wash underneath when I got it home. Will be re painting the chassis and underside this year when summer comes round, keep it looking nice and protected.

iirc mine had spent the last 9 years living in Glasgow but is fine underneath and my old green one came from Aberdeen and was fine but that one was only 7 years old when I got it.
