..............Fiery's air-conditioning has been leaking for some time now and I've been waiting for the cooler weather to fix it :) It all still works absolutely fine, but is very clearly very slowly leaking from around the connections at the front of the air-con rad at the front of the truck just behind the front bumper. You can see a fluorescent green marker on both connections that comes back soon after cleaning them with brake cleaner.

This is the top connection soon after cleaning

And this is the lower one before cleaning (they both now look like this again)

Like I say the air-con has worked fine all summer & still is working, but now we are heading into the cooler weather I'd like to get it fixed ready for next year :) I remember someone I spoke with about it, probably at Lincomb :) Saying that there is just a couple of cheap replacable 'O' rings in there that you can get from Mr T :) Has anyone got the part number :?: I've had a look at ToyoDiy but not all is clear :)

My 80 did the same. I ordered the 0-rings from Toyota and had a aircon specialist replace them. No more problems.

Stating the obvious - and I know you're a bright chap Steve, but please don't undo those unions. You have to get the gas sucked out then do it. Additionally if you do undo them apart form getting covered in florescent green AC fluid, you will allow outside air into the drier. Some AC services will not guarantee results if they see that the system has been empty and vented to atmosphere for a while. They are tiny o rings, pennies each. Best done at the AC centre once they hoovered out the gas.

I am sure that we all knew that. Well, OK I didn't when I undid mine. Took some getting clean I can tell you.
