Anyone know how to make the 3/4 bucket seat safer?

Hey!!

My husband just bought a converted Land Cruiser Dual Cab for our family of 6 to take camping and on a trip to the Cape. I am worried about having one of the kids sit in the front 3/4 bucket seat. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can make the seat safer? Is it possible to install a harness or lap sash with the bucket seat?
