Coolant Draining

Hello everyone,
Newbie to the List here.
Can anyone tell me where exactly the coolant drain cock is on the engine block of a 1996 4.5l petrol.
I had a quick look earlier (in the rain) and could'n't see it.
Any tips on draining, flushing and re-filling appreciated.
Cheers

Its tricky 2 see. Mines a US 96 Petrol so maybe a little different than UK
one.
The stop cock is a white plastic "key" that=92s about 2" long at is near the
bottom of the radiator on the inside (i.e. facing the engine). U can c it
easier if u take off the stone guard from underneath (covers belts) and then
look back up (while lying on the ground) towards the left side.
U can also (barely) see it if u lean over the top of the rad and look down.
Its on the bottom right. Its quite hard 2 get 2
There are several writeups on 80scool and ih8mud regd. This. Ensure u drain
the engine block drain plug (access thru drivers side wheel well) as part of
it. I have a prestone kit add-on that attaches to the heater hose and allows
u to flush with the water-hose connected - so that=92s makes it easier.
Its easy enough (once u can get at the stop-cock) just several steps u need
2 take. Also ensure u run your inside heaters (incl. rear seat heater if
any) 2 help get all the fluid thru the pipes
Have fun :)
