I was wondering :think: if they made a land cruiser 80 series ladder for the back,???

I was looking for one myself but couldn't find one so I've just had this one made for me by Julian V at

Looks nice, I hear theres a few on eBay chrome ones
My problem was that because my swing away wheel carrier is mounted on the left I needed a ladder that mounted on the right, whereas all the available ones mounted on the left and wouldn't fit without modification so I thoght I'd ask Julian to work his magic.

the one ebay chrome one i have seen was poorly made

Are you going to stick any anti slip tape on the ladder rungs? I understand it may not be good in bare feet, but on a damp morning it would be easy to slip and fall.
Maybe something like this http://www.stopslip.co.uk/anti-slip-products/anti-slip-tape/coarse-grade-tape/roll-of-coarse-black-anti-slip-tape.aspx

Anti-slip tape will be going on, I've got some lurking in a dark dusty corner of my man cave . . . .somewhere, it'll probably appear the day after I fall off the ladder. :lol:

The size of what kamaal?

It could be made any size you want, width, length or size of tubing, I think the only essential bit would be making sure there was enough distance between the ladder and window to leave room to allow for your foot. I asked Julian to modify it to leave a bit more room for my feet, the picture is before modification.

I thought the answer was going to be "the size of your feet" Chas! :lol:

I want a rear ladder, trouble is I've got the barn doors, and although I'm not a fatty, me on a ladder will be a bit too heavy for the hinges methinks... :think:

Looking to get one made that's fixed to the door but slings from the roofrack (bearing the load) with an auto clip/unclipping device for when I open the door.

I have a genius "engineering" friend who's considering such a thing... :shhh::pray:
