Engine cutting off

Dear friends,

Recently I purchased iODB2. To check how it works I connect it to 2007 Prado 120. IPAD application iODB2 works fine and shows no error codes. But after this experiment in my car engine cutting off problem. Engine starts normally and without acceleration engine cuts off immediately. To clear possible error codes I tried disconnect battery. No effects.


Please how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

sounds like a faulty immobiliser...considering you've messed with the ODB2 reader you've probably changed some setting or something by mistake... maybe go back into the system and default it if possible?

If you have a spare key, try starting it with that and see?
