I have for sale the Wedge shaped Aluminium Roof Storage Box I purchased from N&J aluminium earlier this year
it is slightly shorter than this one shown on their website

http://www.njaluminiumlinings.co.uk/land-rover-expedition-roof-rack-box-c-253-p-1-pr-16299.html

Another company makes slightly cheaper verisons - but these are not 3mm thick aluminium for the whole box, just the lid.
and are not much cheaper once you add 2x gas struts and full hinge which the N&J box has as standard

it measures
1250mm wide
700mm front to back
150mm front height and 300mm rear height

it has gas struts, a full length hinge at front and 2x locks
4x holes drilled in base for fitting on roofbars
and 4x holes for fitting underslung spot lights, which can be plugged.

It was a usefull storage space during our France trip,

holding the bike trailer we towed our puppy in

2x waffleboards
awning side panels, biking rucksacs, shoes and helmets and electrical hookup cables.

However my wife has always disliked it, due to shape conflicting with the shape of the Magg hardtop tent
I have come round to this now, these boxes look much better in front of a oblong shaped fold-out RTT.

Like the picture Chris took of the similar box he fitted on his 80 series :icon-cool:

hi Andy, please consider it sold. I'll send you a PM.

wow - that was quick.
Thanks Mark

I will reply to PM

cheers
Andy

I specified the height of mine to be exactly the same as the front of the roof tent Andy. So that it blended in but of course made the RTT a touch more aerodynamic. Not something you need with the Magg. I am going to lose my box when the James Baroud goes on there and I really don't want to. It's been brilliant. Great for seldom used stuff.

Good early move there Mark. Well done.

4 minutes, that must be some kind of record, I'd imagine! Well done both

Its going to be a JB then Chris? Buy 2 and bring the other one with you next August

When Paul sold his mag roof tent on here to me, think I replied within 5 mins of ad being posted :)
