Front locker problem

I did a little bit of off-roading a couple of weeks ago to give the old girl a workout and she was performing as expected until I needed the front locker.

i test my cdiff and lockers on a regular bais to make sure they don't become sized through lack of use and tryed all only a week ago and all was fine..
Not any more front has packed up.

i returned home to strip down and found this


I found out that the o ring seal had gone hence the water ingress

anyway all stripped down and rebuilt works perfect now.

It's the motor end that's really critical. That lot can live again, but only if the motor and magnets are still breathing. Plenty of cleaning and some good grease on the worm drive and springs and you might be OK. Other than that it's time to re mortgage your house I'm afraid.

After the issue I had with the rear one I stripped the front one just incase, was all spot on but glad I checked.
