Headers on a 3400 5VZ

Hi , have any members fitted headers to their 3400 Prado , and if so was it a worthwhile investment , was there a noticeable improvement in power and or fuel economy . Thanks in advance for your replies ..cheers Mick

I've got headers/Extractors on my 4Runner with the 3VZE; I reckon I've gained a gear on some of the ranges on the New England Highway (Murrundi in 4th at 90, Moonbi 2 in 3rd at 60kmh)

I got mine from Best Mufflers in Sydney; Chris can't do enough to help with sorting the parts out. I suspect you'd be best talking to him as there doesn't seem to be a simple solution!

Fuel economy? I can't report back on that yet, I've got a new O2 sensor sitting in the car waiting to be fitted (running without one at the moment) and I've also blanked off the EGR system - still looks complete from a quick look (ie Pink Slip time)
