Hi from Wellington NSW Australia, another newby

Hi, names Brett, i am from Wellington NSW Australia, was searching the net & came across your forum, looks like a great place to be a part of,
I recently acquired a 1989 HJ75 diesel 4l 2h Cruiser ute, it had been sitting for a while & needed lots of work before i could get it passed for registration, anyway after 3 months of rebuilding & replacing lots of stuff in between working 7 days a week i finally have it back on the road & registered still lots to do but at least now its drive-able, I recently brought a canopy for it & plan on setting it up for a little off road touring & camping,, the bull bar will be replaced with a later more modern winch bar,
lots to do before i am happy with it but its starting to come together, I haven't had a chance as yet to look into how to post photos but wil as soon as i can looking forward to reading all of your threads & reading all of your stories.

This is before i brought it home, amazing what a bit of polish can do

after a bit of polish & detailing, also changed the 15x7 rims for 16x8 & a -24 offset

Thanks Steve, about the bar yep your right, might be ok for pushing cows around on the property i got it from lol, would you believe it past the blue slip with that bar on there, it was fitted in 1989 & has been on there ever since then, That will be one of the first things i remove while doing the lift kit & fitting out the canopy I Already have little more modern ARB winch bar waiting to be fitted after Christmas
p.s price of new bar was right, one of my customers gave it to me, one of my mates owns a metal fab place is going to make the new brackets to suit the cruiser
