I'm struggling with a vehicle search and the framno url (http://framno.narod.ru/ ) sent to me by Jon, as they ask for the 17 character VIN number, but the one on the car and the log book is only 12 SNIP
Nick,
I am sorry if I am wrong and they don't have the 70 series on it.
But unlike you, I don't have any kind of VIN number, just frame, engine and
model. Inputting those was all that was needed to get the full ID from the
site - the valuable 'catalog' number to direct errant Toy partsmen ;o)
So have you tried inputting all the numbers that you have?
Cheers

[80] Water thrown up from the front wheels

I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds that when driving through a deep puddle I get a wall of water over the front, and (briefly) cannot see where I'm going.
This rather came to a head last week when driving at night in torrential rain on country roads in Yorkshire, when I darned near walloped an oncoming car because I couldn't see where to steer.
I suppose it's due to wide tyres and a high front clearance, but has anyone ever come up with a mod to stop this happening? Perhaps some sort of "leading" mud flaps?
Any ideas appreciated.
