I am planning on a CB for Sunday in Wales

If any one has a SWR meter they can bring along on Sunday,
and can kindly set mine up for me, then muchas gratis.
I have no idea how to set up, and hear one can 'burn out' the CB if the transmit or receive is not matched to the aerial?

Yes, you can burn out the transmitter if the SWR is way off.

If you referring to the 29th, I'll have mine with me and we can set it up.
