I found this whilst looking under the drivers seat.

It may or may not be a part of the truck as I've never seen one before.
BTW its only small, as in proportion to the biro.

Not one of those new driver insurance black boxes is it? Looks almost like an HDMI port on the side though. Maybe some kind of feed for a video screen?

Just a wild guess, but Garmin cradles have those sprung pin contacts and as it was under the drivers seat where the satnav disc lives, could there be a connection (ha). The hole in the side looks a bit ragged for a production job, so maybe an attempt to try to use SD cards?
