Lack of power and shudders when ignition turned off

Well, after doing all the work the truck went a lot better and seemed to pull my caravan ok. Then it all went back to as it was after a couple of weeks. Got back under the bonnet and tried turning the spill valve adjuster in as per KZJ explained in his tuning posts, still not that good. Then I noticed that the turbo sensor pipe was lose on the spigot. Touched it and it fell in two bits. When I did the head a couple of years ago, I replaced all the little vacuum hoses with a webbing covered hose and this stopped me from seeing that the hose had split along half its length so the sensor wasn't getting a reading. Once a new hose was fitted took it for a drive and all I can say is its good to have the power back.   The ECU didn't show any fault codes at all but it is obvious that this was the cause of the problem. Been running the truck for two weeks now and no problems what so ever with the power delivery but still have a bit of a rough shutdown.
