On foot of a post on the 60 series section, I got thinking about this. In Ireland anyway, the emergency services have a long history of using LCs for specific purposes. Thought I'd throw up a few pics for those who are interested.

Mainly Fire service and Coast Guard units

Even the cops are in on the act.. They have several 90s and 120s here and are taking on a dozen 150s next year

That winch install on that LWB Fire Service Collie looks pretty no-nonsense and the winch seems big enough to pull the QE2 out of her berth too! :icon-cool:
