new member with AHC problems

Hi I'm Pete and I have been driving Landcruiser Amazon's for over 30 years.
My current Landcruiser is an 08 plate - and has been no trouble at all - until a recent trip to France and the AHC warning light came on and the car has dropped to its lowest level and wont change. Ride is really bumpy and at present Toyota have no idea what the problem is - any ideas ?

If the warning light is on then they should be able to read an error code from the computer, which will give some idea of what the problem is.

As Jon says - read codes - might give some insight, for someone who knows how the AHC works.
"...has been no trouble at all" - does that mean a lack of maintenance of the suspension system?

Important info missing: Land Cruisers come in different flavours and in order to get specific info/help, you have to specify your ride:
- Model series
- Model code
- Year and month of manufacture
- Market the car was produced for.
