Hello all.
Recently purchased a 100 series Land Cruiser, upgrading from a 2001 Toyota Hilux, Dual cab. Two very different vehicles and I must admit that I'm really enjoying the ride and comfort of the Cruiser. I live in Darwin and purchased the vehicle from Noosa in Queensland, which gave me a few days driving to get to know her a bit better. She is a 2006 4.2 turbo diesel, automatic. So far the only main differences, from original, that I've seen is a Chip upgrade and air bag suspension. I don't know a lot about these vehicles, only that they come highly recommended from a few mechanics including my brother.
The intention for the cruiser is to transport the family across the country side (Holidaying) over the coming years. I don't think the Hilux was going to do the job and provide the comfort the family requires. I will no doubt learn a lot from this forum and will have plenty of questi0ns to come.
Thanks
Jason
