Hi Roman
No they supply brackets. I was able to use the original fan-ducting,
mounting points to bolt to.
I have used 'Packet' fans on my shoegun-they were nowhere near as well made
and used plastic ties.
Maybe so, but they very rarely run in the U.K, once or twice in two years! I
don't plan to tow a few tons across the Sahara.

Hi Roman,
The two fans are in shrouds (ducts) that fit flush against the rear of the
radiator. They cover most of the radiator surface and are very powerful.

Dermot Allen

Dermot,
Good, looks like Kenlowe fans have changed for the better. Last time I
looked at them (some five years ago) I wasn't impressed.

Hi guys
Just a quick question. Does the rear diff work in the same way as the front one in that diff oil can mix with the grease and also needs inner seals to stop this process.
thanks

John,
No, the rear only has a seal behind the drive flange to fail to let the diff
oil out through the wheel centre. It is a straight shaft from the flange to
the diff.

Hi Clive
Thanks, the reason I asked is because when I changed the rear diff oil it looked like the front diff oil a while back when my seal had gone and the oil mixed with the grease.

Hi John,
Mixing of the oil and the grease is more unlikely with the rear axle
and also is less of an issue.
If there is grease in there it is only likely to be wheel bearing
grease.

No offroading in the cruiser yet John. It's been my daily drive /
working vehicle for the past four years but it's about to start
receiving long awaited mods. Suspension lift first. Then we'll see.

Be very careful about what you do it becomes additive just look at me I
started of as just a Cruiser driver and then was throw into a world of of
mods and better driving and better mods and better and more and more and
more. Now my wallet is a lot lighter and the wife and kids think im
obsessed and need comittal to the funny farm and to get my attention they
say Cruiser Mod and then tell me what they really want me to know. Where
will it all end or will it all end first. So take care and thread slowly at
your own peril. My Cruiser is the one and only drive we have and so thats
why im very careful with it , but still have this compulsion to get it
really dirty and go where it has never gone before and I dont mean past the
local shops to the next set of shops.
Definatly get the suspension done you will be thrilled with the results.

I know what you mean about the addiction John. I've been modifying and
driving off-road motors for years now. I've run Defenders, Series land
Rovers, Range Rover Classic and now Suzuki Samurais. The yellow Samurai
is now a lot less clean and straight than it was in the picture I sent
you :)
What suspension kit did you get John. I don't know which kit to go for
having never modded a landcruiser before.
BTW John, if you want to see a modded UK LC then look here:

Hey Peter
I got the two inch lift on all four springs and also replaced the shocks
with OME which are really great. Even though the cruiser is higher than
before it is a lot more stable, less wobble at corners and roundabouts. It
seems to hold the road a lot better and is less inclined to sway or bounce
and is a lot easier to handle at corners. It rides better in that it over
all feels better than before. It looks much better I think the way it should
look from the factory.
