Not sure whether these guys are brave, stupid or both!

To put a car on the "side", you have to lock the diff or diffs (if not the wheels "up" will spin to twice the revs, and the wheels "down" will slow to a halt). OK with the Cruiser.

But to put the car on the side, and change the wheels, you need to have the diff or diffs locked, AND the outer wheels freewheeling (if not you'll be trying to change a spinning wheel...). So, what's the prep before the act?

Easiest way would be to set it up so you can brake each side individually.

Then no need for lockers or fancy free wheeling set up.
