Hi,
This is initially for Peter and Niall, but also interesting reading for
the rest of you...
Toyota Gibralta Stockholdings Ltd are probably the biggest suppliers of
LCs to the UN, NATO and other NGOs for use around the world so have a
good bit of experience to draw on.
If you have a look at their site at:http://tinyurl.com/2vnvhp you will
see their recommended service schedules - follow the links along the
top for more details.
They have quite a handy Excel spreadsheet listing the servicing
recommendations at http://tinyurl.com/3d4ugv
Peter, I think you asked in the past about XLS files - these are
Micrsoft Excel spreadsheets (do you remember me telling you about this
modern technology!!!) - anyway if you don't have MS Office installed
(which incorporates Excel) you can download a viewer from
http://tinyurl.com/cup85.

Hi Somers,
That would be for the cars with Indepedent suspension, as opposed to
fixed axles.

Hi Niall,
Actually, I have seen rubber boots fitted to Propshafts to keep the
crap out of where the two halves slide together - they may be referring
to that.
The boot would keep the water out, the grease in and thus improve
longevity of the joint.

All you'd need is a a sock like the stone guards you get with a shock
Most decent motor factors carry a deacent stock of them.
Worth trying it out anyway
Cheers

Hello the Julien, did you know that we start to see more Open Office
here in France? Even some business use it because MiscroSoft pricing
politic's of Office are so espensive.
You are the smart computre guy of the list so do you have opinions or
informations on Open Office? It is free.
