Running in tandem with comments on the other low mileage 80 thread, I'd say that one was bought by someone desperate or ignorant. That is more than I'd pay I think, unless it was utterly perfect in every single aspect and didn't need so much as an air filter change.

Since apparently no one on here went to see it and just maybe the two highest bidders did then the truck went for what it was worth. No one made them bid what they did. "Only a GX" doesnt make it any less a Landcruiser, the cloth interior has quite a few advantages over leather and the plastic wood looks a bit dated now. The lack of a chrome roof rack only makes fitting a proper one easier.
I'd sooner have a mint GS than a shabby VX.
