Byron wants me to post a photo so as Chris is wandering about in my hard drive no doubt he can solve my problem:-

" From computer-Basic Uploader-Browse-(Box filled in with correct file)-Upload files............................." Nothing happens.

Is the file too big?

In fact this site is so slow for me now it's nearing the time when I'm not going to tune in anymore.

So, Frank, you have something looking like this where the file name is in the box ready to upload then you click up load and you are NOT getting this ....?





I just click insert in line and I get ....



It sounds like you know WHAT to do, it just ISN'T doing it.

After clicking "upload photos" I left it for a minute then it said "landcruiserclub.net not responding". Then the site froze.

I tried again and the photos appeared OK in the box where you type but now they are described as "invalid attachments". Crispin can you help? I did the reporting link thing but it would not go. Was the file too big ? I had to use maximum pixel setting on my camera so the strings would show up. I'd like to post other pics.

Frank, I'll take a look when I get home. On occasion some do get the "invalid attachment" problem but I've never been able to recreate it. I'm wondering if it's something to do with your connection problems.

I'll take a look at the logs when I'm home.

I've had a look at the logs and can't see anything in particular.

What was the thread you were trying to upload pics to?
Was it a slow day of a fast day for the site? (Are you still having those problems?)

It was a rare quick day.
I'll try again tomorrow.
Meantime does the file size matter? Please before I use more time.

Nope, no size limit (worth mentioning).

Ok, so this is interesting. I uploaded image (as per Chris' example above) and selected the image. The button then said "insert inline (1)". I clicked it and nothing happened save for the button now saying "insert inline (0)". I reselected the image and tried again and it worked....
I'll see if I can recreate it and try work it out.
