pollen filter

Hi

My LC is 100/amazon 2004. Does anyone know if it has pollen filters. I cannot find any.

It likely does not have the pollen filter. However, it is relatively simple to install. This thread is longer than it needs to be but the information is there.

Hi Hoser

Thanks for that! Very interesting. I note that people in very dusty areas have empty filter apertures from new. Maybe Toyota dealers were told to take the filters out in some areas because they new that the customer would be back soon with blocked air filters and no air flow? I think the filters are only designed to filter out pollen and diesel particulates. Not big enough for hay! Makes sense? As I don't live in a hay area I shall have a look at mine and let you know.
