Pregnant pauses?

Lately there have been some pregnant pauses with the forum. Are other people seeing this?

For example, posting something, it hangs for a few seconds and then everything is lightning fast again. Click next, wait wait wait then fast again.

It's happening to me at work and at home so unlikely connection or computer.

Anyone else seeing it?

This sort of thing happened for me when the forum first changed over, but it seems OK now.
