Random flickering T-Belt and turbo dash light ?

This started when i fried the ciggy lighter socket and blew the dome fuse .

At the time I'd never heard of a dome fuse so pulled all fuses and I don't know what connections seeking the fault . Only specific i do remember is removing the 12v accessories box (in front of air filter) to clean up connections a soak with WD-40 .

Seen the lights flicker a few times over the next few days then nothing for a week then flickering all day and not the next . And strangely removing the rear prop seemed to settle it some ?
Its not consistent with any particular revs , on the power or off , so i think something is loose and rattling/flashing with road surface ?

Could be a bad earth somewhere that changes with vibration and moisture?

Sounds live a lose wire on the back of the alternator.

Mine used to do this many years ago until I sussed out what was happening. It used to effect all the dash lights though so it may not be the same problem.

Pull the plug off the back of the alternator, give all the connectors a pinch with some needlenose pliers, or carefully bend them with a small screwdriver. DON'T OVER DO IT.
Then reconnect the plug and then cable tie it somewhere to stop it vibrating, make sure you leave some free play for the slight engine movement.

Did this to mine about 12 years ago and the lights have never played up since.

Not a timing issue .... the timing belt light is tripped by the odometer....
I would go with an earth issue seeing as that's probably the only common thing between both warning lights
