Hi Guys
I am having some Rock/Tree Sliders Fabbed up after I have some positive comments at Lincomb about the ones I made. At Presest they will be only available for the SWB 90 series with 80 series one to follow very soon. There will be 2 types (pics furtherdown):
1. Square box ones exactly like mine but in a bolt on type
2. Square boxRock Sliders with 1.5" tubular Tree Sliders, again a bolt on type
(Both can also be supplies as weld to chassis)

Prices will be £180 for box type and £150 for the tubular, Fabricated from Galvanized 5mm wall Steel and will be finished in etch primer ready for a final coat.

Anyone with a 7x, 95, 120 or 150 that is willing to travel up to the Humber area can have a set for for free made to measure so long as we can keep a template (will take about half a day)

90 series Winch Mount coming soon just need to get some costings. Again discounts available for anyone with a 7x, 120 or 150 willing to travel and be measured up.

Thanks for the interest Grant and Neil. Just so I can get an idea which would you be looking at Box or Tube

Thanks

If you want to do some measuring on 80's I've got both manual and auto's with steps removed.

It would be square box type for me. Manual 80

Liking the sliders Chris.

I reckon the squre section ones would look great with some checker plate riveted on.

Cheers Mate, I had considered that its just my personal preference that I kept them open. Suppose i could do plated ones as an option.

Also found a better picture of the box type

Do they bolt on were the original equipment side steps fit??

I've mullered one of the aluminium side steps on my Hi-lux, surprising how much damage a bollard can do.:icon-cry:

Lol. I die exactly the same think on dirty gal hence building tye first set. No they do not bolt up to the original points as these would not be strong enough. They clamp around the chassis kinda like a sandwich with the slider leg being one slice and a piece of flat plate being the other slice and the chassis being the filling if that makes sense.

Fitted a set of our sliders for a customer today. Shame its a Green Oval but I like the look of them. IMHO they wouldn't look out of place on one that never went off road and was only used as for the school runs.

I would be very interested if you could make some for a petrol 80

Had a visit from Froggy Steve today. Good day and a good chat. Fitted his sliders for him and I am pretty sure he is happy with them.

Won't put any pictures on just yet as I wouldn't want to spoil his thunder. Unless you say its OK Steve.

Thanks for your custom.
