Romania 2015

On the theme of accommodation, while you guys are at our place, we will have 2 spare rooms available at the minimum.

I was hoping that another 4 rooms would be available by August, but that's looking unlikely at the moment.

I just thought you you should all know. There's room for camping and we can find local accommodation if necessary.

don't need 4 rooms extra rooms now as 3 vehicles have book and maybe there will be one more, how about if you can get maybe 1/2 more sorted out before Aug, only if possible and leave the rest

might bring the bigger tent for more room

Also if their is any goodies you may want please ask

Helen and I expect to stay in our trailer though I'm sure we would both be grateful for a proper hot shower by the time we get there and if you can swing that Clive we will be more than satisfied .

No worries Shayne, call us before you arrive and we'll put the kettle(s) on :laughing-rolling:

If I get this trailer right a sit down shower with a couple of kettles of water should be possible wherever I park it !
Please tell me you've got a hosepipe I could Jerry rig a shower from that by wrapping some copper tube around my exhaust

might bring the middle tent with me as its nice and easy to set up

Horizontal ground is a bit of a problem at our place, but it's reasonably level in the area facing the gate for your tent(s) RR.

I imagine Shayne's trailer could be leveled with wedges under the wheels/jacks, as appropriate, where it's not so level.

We may end up having to search for Shayne one morning at the bottom of the hill

How much fall over 6ft would be handy to know Clive ?

Oh Shayne, now you're asking, it depends where you park! I would suggest a part that's mainly just not quite even as opposed to sloping. If you're sleeping in the trailer, as I presume, it would be just a case of leveling the 4 corners to even out undulations to stop any movement.

On the approach nearer the house, it steepens, and there I suppose it could be 30cm over 2m or steeper.

Dont worry though, we'll sort all that on arrival. There's always a neighbour's land we could use if necessary.

We're also going to try to "borrow" another neighbor's house (Camelia). It's small and a bit cute (a traditional old build) but clean and tidy. She doesn't live there anymore, but she keeps the place up to scratch. It has beds and a lounge, a bathroom and a kitchen, water, gas and electricity, and a TV, so it would be more comfortable than camping, but it depends on what you'd prefer to do when you get there.

Again, no guarantees at this stage, but we're trying to broaden the options. We may even get one or two of our extension rooms finished. The thought of a 4th truck recently is good news, and really, there shouldn't be a problem as long as there's a mixture of campers and those who would prefer a roof over them.

We have a bathroom with a toilet, shower and washbasin, with hot and cold, but no bath unfortunately. Anyway, all we have will be at your disposal, so there's no need to panic.

We also have a semi-basement with a double bed settee and an en-suite toilet, shower and washbasin, so there are alternatives.

I always tease visitors by saying our house is like camping indoors, but it's not quite so bad .

Give over that's a bloody mansion you got there I bet your only having us to test out the servants quarters before you start hiring . I asked about fall as the jury is still out with regards to levelling the trailer . Its convenience of use V added weight every step of the way .
