As above any feedback on these ie quality of bearings, seals, do they actually fit? :wtf:

Thanks for your thoughts

I ordered from them and got a genuine bearing, wrong size o-ring, and an inner seal that didn't look the same quality as the original. I can't remember what the outer seal was like. They didn't include the locating ring.

Hmmm ok so probably get the bearing from them and get seals etc through Toyota then? Would that be my best move do you think?

Get the bearing from them and the 'O' ring and seals from Mike Hatton (Toyota) as both Roughtrax and Milners seals have been known to give far less service life than genuine. The 'O' ring that's supplied with the kit either from Roughtrax or Milners is always to large and its been surmised that its probably a 100 series one.

Thats no small job replacing the rear wheel bearing, do you have a plan and a hydraulic bearing press?

How can I get in touch with this guy is he a member here?

It had a leak on one side so I took it to a so called 'specialist' who came highly recommended on here. Got him to replace the bearings and all the seals on both sides and he charged me a fortune, wont go into details at present. But after 2000 miles it is far worse on BOTH sides. This is it now, my nice new handbrake shoes and the Toyota pads are soaked in oil.

I only took it there cos Id had a op on my arm so didnt want to risk doing it.

So as usual I will be redoing it myself. Got a secondhand axle from Pete Bell ( top man) wanted to replace one of the halfshafts on mine as it had some marks on from a previous expert, and am going to make the tool from the axle casing to remove the bearings. Like this

Will zip the shafts down to a local transmission place and get them to pull the bearings and push on the new ones.

You could have a bent axle which ruptured the seal after a short while? People that are highly recommended on here do know there stuff .. and I'd be very surprised if they said no to sorting it out for you.

It's leaking loads on both sides now, before it was 'fixed' it only had a small leak on one side after 120000 miles.
Didn't say no or yes to sorting it out as I didn't even get a reply when I contacted them with an explanation of what had happened.

For parts ... just email this guy [email protected] with what you want ... then phone through your card details. You'll have it very quickly
