But if he hadn't of tried to overtake the car, he wouldn't of even put her in that situation.

First time I saw this in the news I actually thought the child didnt make it and was horrified that they showed the footage on live tv..
So relieved and pleased to hear that he did make it, what a horror story, that will teach the parents to drive safely with a child on board. No child seat, really?!

I don't know the facts, can only speculate. I can't think of a way that would happen if the child was in a secured properly in a properly installed child seat.
