Hi
I have replaced all the track rod ends and a steering idler.
I am now having a problem with the relay arm, from pitman arm to steering idler,
hitting the shock. I know I should have taken pictures:sleeping-sleep:
I have tried setting it up on both full left and right lock and straight ahead.
But it always catches the shock.
Any advice, pictures gratefully received.
Thanks
John

I assume that you mean the steering damper shock. Had a similar problem recently but mine was the replacement steering damper was in the wrong box.... it wasn't for a 40 or in my case a 60 (I have 60 power steering set up). Have you changed the steering damper? If so give me the measurements as I have them for most cruisers up to 80 now!
If you haven't changed SD then check length of pitman arm against old one. don't know lenght but I know a man who does!
Regards and apologies for delay in responding
