Remember that hub cover you sent me? Well I painted it but failed. I put up with a poor finish for some time but bit the bullet yesterday and covered it with paint striper. What a nightmare. Managed to get all the paint off then attempted to respray. Failure again. Found a faulty needle adjusting screw on my faithful spray gun after 40 years of perfect service so washed off a bit quick with thinners and success, back to the good old days. Primer, Citroen silver, then twin pack hardener.
