Toyota's 120 Series Land Cruiser (also called 'Prado' in other markets such as Australia, New Zealand and South Africa) is a tough-as-nails sports utility permanent 4-wheel-drive vehicle that'll take you to the ends of the world and back in a comfortable and safe manner. It's body-on-frame construction, combined with it's 3.0litre common-rail D-4D diesel or 4.0litre V6 engines mated to either 6 speed manual or 5 speed auto gearboxes, driving all four wheels with electronic traction control, stability control or differential locks (or both on some variants) is a joy to drive, and offers substantial benefits in the accessory after-market, with big names such as ARB, TJM, ToughDog, FrontRunner, Hannibal, AfricanOutback, EscapeGear and Melville and Moon all making great products for this vehicle.
