I removed my centre console on my 1995 LC HD FT and found this, anyone know what it is

It looks possibly like a radar motion sensor for an alarm. Older alarms had ultrasonic detectors but newer ones have passive radar/microwave detectors.

I think its a Japanese translation typo- it should say GAYDAR and its used for warning when RR owners are nearby. mystery solved.

Probably a t0yota Aus part #. A google search reveals that it was also found in a MR2 in Aus with the same question posed.
