Hi all

Newby to the forum.
Ive just bought a Troopy 1997 75 Series.

I am in search of the following:
1. (5 stud) 16x8 wheels with a minimum -20 offset - so i can fit 285/75/16s
2. Wheel arch flares
3. Snorkel

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to buy these?

thank you

Welcome to the forum!

On the rims, 100 series rims (from the older models in 16") should match the stud pattern and will be 16x8. No idea on the offset though.

Wheel arch flares are going to be a struggle in the UK - best best is probably to cobble something a la the Land Rover crowd, so check out the LR forums/stores.

Snorkel - Devon 4x4, TBR and OEC can probably order in a Safari or TJM for you.

Cheers,

100 series wheels are +60 offset so probably no use on a 75 then.

1997 75 Series Troopy should be on 6 stud wheels, not 5, if it is on 5 can you post an image. Mine is a 75 and uses 80 GS Steel wheels with a small spacer but only uses 235 tyres

For info: 285/75 x 16 is 4.7% larger than standard so at 70mph you will be doing 73.3mph, which is not bad

thanks
Mine is defo on 6 studs and not 5 - it is the last of the 75 series.
Originally i thought of the 100series wheels - but these dont fit.

I have been told 285/75/16 will be the best ride but will need 16x8 wheels with a -20 offset.

so where do i find these? West Coast?? Help???

I have been told that any 6 stud, 80 series wheel will fit but you may need some small spacers.

By the way the 75 was in production until late 1998.

Can you make your mind up?
There should be plenty of 6 stud rims floating around as they're a fairly common pattern on other Jap brands like Mitsubishi, as well as Toyotas.
