its slow -it can hit 8mph but it will go just about any where, i had it in to fit a hydraulic winch on the front and shorten the chassis by 500mm i fitted a three point link on the rear to lift a post driver for my bud who uses it for fencing

Mind you even these aren't entirely foolproof....



It was an amazing day out on Morecambe Bay.



You can even drive over quicksand in them (and they swim too). Hugely impressive.

2.5 Ford V6 aren't' they?

They have a special method for getting stuck people out of the sand using hose and nozzles with high pressure jets to liquefy the sand so they can be pulled out. Seen in the telly so it must be true.

There is a V6 petrol version but these ones are diesel powered - From memory Mercedes diesels. Yes they do have a specialist method for getting folk unstuck using pressurised water. Its a very impressive setup they have and very interesting to learn about the unique challenges Morecambe Bay brings.
