Waxoyling Exhausts ???????

Lets get this absolutely 100% clear - as I am the man doing the
waxoyling - you do not spray the exhausts / silencers. It is a waste of
time as heat will melt the wax and there is always the potential to
start a fire if you got a substantial amount over the exhaust system. In
the same way that I cover each of the brake discs and calipers with a
plastic bag I also drape some bags over the exhaust. The last thing I
want is Renate burnt to a frazzle !!! Perish the very thought.

Calm down me 'ol fruit, I'm not planning doing this myself because I
wouldn't because I wouldn't know what to do - I know these kinds of
things are dangerous - do give me a little credit for having
intelligence enough to know the differences between things lile
dangerous chemicals and other dangerous bits - even better, I'm now
doing Occupational Health and Safety courses at work (how boring is
that!?).
I'm actually quite a clever cruiser head....I've sussed out the
dangers, Gareth, don't worry, you won't have a frazzled Renate on your
hands....perish the very thought indeed! ;-)
I'll leave the bits I can't handle to the experts - which is good in a
way because as I said in an earlier email to the list I'm still a novice
in so many areas, and probably will remain so for the rest of my life.
I really wanted to get to Libya this weekend and now I've found all my
mates are variously spaced between Mali, Mauretania and Tunisia - a
crying shame - I'm gutted! but it doesn't stop me planning for the next
trip....
I want ultimatly to have the Beast like it used to be - perfect in
every way, and I'm prepared to do what I can to make it this way. So a
day or so in Newport is a day or so that I can look forward to...and a
day or so well spent
