Hi, I'm replacing my aircon condensor, because the old one disintergrated into dust. When removing it, there's a little thingie (technical term) in the offside lower corner. I'm assuming it's some kind of sensor as it has wires to it, its a black plastic cylinder with a smaller solid cylinder inside it. The bracket that holds it on and part of the sensor itself has rusted to nothing so if it's important I'd like to replace it but I don't know what it's called. Can't find it on the FSM or EPC?

Dan, I wish I knew. I have asked many people and no one seems to know. I was told it was the air bag sensor - until they realised that I don't have any air bags.

I'm waiting for an answer just like you.

 I expect there are a few second hand ones available. In Toyota speak it's OUTER TEMP (NO. 3) :wtf:

Sorry forgot all about this thread, got caught up fixing other problems. Karl the parts guy is going to see if he has any available, can't find any other 80 series breakers. If not I'll attempt to use my new welder.
Thanks.
Dan
