I have a 2003 100 LC with the built in AC controls head unit and cd stacker in the centre console. How best is it to get my ipod to play through the unit with out using an FM transmitter?

I am happy to sacrifice the CD stacker if I have to but was wondering what other people have done. If it can charge the ipod at the same time that would be great.

Dension Gateway 100, has an ipod connection and a 3.5mm aux input. Has two styles of connector for the stereo which AFAIK is supposed to cover all the Toyota variations and has a Y lead for the CD changer to stay connected. I used one in my 100 with my OEM stereo before I changed to a Pioneer head unit at the end of last year with everything I wanted built in so the Dension was not needed. AFAIK it's working as it should for Gary in his 120 now which is a more up to date head unit similar to yours.
