Just a quick post for now, more to follow.
Just after my 50,000 service. Whats the story with diff oils, should they be changed regardless of use, or is it a case of if they are ok they dont need to be changed.
They told me my front caliper is seized and should be changed asap. Theyve quoted me €320 for a new caliper and €100 labour. Is this realistic? I presume my local garage would be able to manage this.

Diff oils don't get done at 50k. I'll post the service schedule when I get home ...

Price sounds nought right but there are alternatives - some offer PX on them. Also remember to try Ian R.

2 hours labour is about right as well I guess

Cheers

If you're any way handy with the tools changing a caliper is simple and having done mine, I did each one in about 45mins, excluding a bit of help bleeding the system. As Gary says, Check with Ian R re new calipers. I hadn't any luck with PX calipers myself but you may be lucky. It's also a good time to review and check disks and pads when you've the motor with the wheels off.
