60 Series Idling

Hi just wondering what other peoples HJ60 2H motors Idle at, i think ( I accidently broke my tachometer ) mine idles at around 700-800rpm.

Hi mine is an auto and around about 900, but the manual was about the same as yours. It was set so it would idle and still drive in first....for 4WDing. There would be times I'd pull up at the lights, press the clutch in and it would almost stall from the low idle revs..although not always necessary

If I start my 2h with out any accelerator it will idle at 550rpm and when it warms up it runs at 650rpm, so 700 rpm is quite right Id say

I would say 650-700 should be right for a manual 60.
