'77 FJ40 - Need SoCal (Orange County) Mechanic!

hello out there!

i had a '77 FJ40 restored, but the guy who did it is in Colorado and i'm in Orange County, CA so following up on the restoration when there are issues isn't very practical. can anyone recommend someone in (or near) Orange County who could check it out mechanically for me?

Hi acrobat, welcome to the club. We are predominantly a UK based club so Im not sure if anyone would know good mechanics in California, you would probably get better answers about US mechanics from www.ihatemud.com which is a predominantly American/Canadian LandCruiser forum.

Feel free to post up some pictures of your FJ40 though (we like pictures ) and ask any technical questions.

Welcome and as above, I did think also that there might be some one on Expedition Portal that might have a suggestion.

Might be worth a call to s.o.r (Specter Offroad) to see if they can recommend anyone. They are in LA and supply loads of 40 series parts.
Not many FJs over here so we do need pictures!!!!
