..... a drive shaft curclip (outer end) ... and a flange nut (14mm) they would be kind enough to let me have. .. will pay.

yup .. one of those ....Cheers Chris .. mine went Piiiiing! as I went to refit it after adjusting the wheel bearings ..... and that was that.

Best thing is Anderson pliers, but you can refit it using a socket and an 8mm bolt with a washer. Handy as a field trick.

Had a super lucky find this morning as I walked down our drive ....... yup .. I found the missing curclip about half way across the yard
also found the missing drive flange nut .... super happy or what!!
