Auto folding mirrors on the 150

I just found this on AliExpress:

how times have changed.
After watching both clips from crispin and alliexpress how they are both connected.
Crispin joined the wires via solder etc.
AliExpress was plug and play that's provided that there video clip is as easy as it shows.
I have ordered the mirror harness and double the price when Crispin bought it unfortunately.
I hope it fits as easy as he video otherwise will be getting advice fron Crispin.

For the price of the car new I'm very surprised also but hopefully a cheap fix.
People say to my why do you need to fold your mirrors if there not made that way.
My answer is I feel better looking at the mirrors closed and know my car is locked.
I fixed my 120 the same way for piece of mind.

Yeah at home and normal car parks I'm not too worried but it's a must when parallel parking. It's not the narrowest of cars plus I'm 99.99% certain that no-one here is going to stop and leave a note if they hit your mirror.

In the UK I'm guessing parks are probably smaller, not sure I'd enjoy driving a Prado through the suburban delights of where I used to live (Harlow).

Update on my mirror install.
I followed the instructions on the YouTube clip the seller sent.
The instructions are useless for a UK right-hand drive model any way.
The red wire they say to connect to the harness just kept blowing my drivers window fuse.
I watched over and over incase I missed something but just kept blowing the 25amp fuse.
I put on hold for now so I'm looking for a mirror kit that someone has fitted that works .
I have ordered a universal one from Ebay but not holding much luck for it.
I fitted the same universal harness to the wife's kia sportage and worked perfectly.
So the harness in the link if anyone has installed successfully I would be happy to know how you done it.
