Hello all,
I could find a topic about the extension of a breather of a manual gearbox,(http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?11029-Diff-and-Transmission-Breather-Extensions)but not of the auto transmission. Has anyone done the breather extension on a auto transmission (diesel or petrol) and can give me some tips?
Or next holyday contains some deep (bonnet high) river crossing and I think I need to extent them, or not?
Thank you, Bor

P.S. I also asked this on LCool.org , but maby some one of you knows.

have to say mine has been bonnet deep a few times and for decent lengths, never had an issue, gearbox oil is still clean

this was one of them in Essex and they don't come much longer, I believe this is the longest in the UK and its deep

I haven't done that much deep water, but I did get muddy water in my front diff once at Salisbury Plain. The gearbox has been fine though.

Thank you all for so far. The water will be in Rusia, about 500km from any help, so I need to be shure that there will be no problems.
Looks like I will be the first here to do the breaters of gearbox...
