Noticed a stain on the tarmac under the front left of my beloved oiler so stooped down to have a look and it is diesel... well, it tastes like diesel! Lucky it wasn't dog...
A very quick look under the car and the bonnet (no more than that has been done as I had a decent pair of jeans on) revealed a moistening of the bottom of the FIP but nothing at he top. I haven't run the engine for a week but it probably just got warm in the sunlight.
So, before I get into any detailed looking (I admit it was no more than a cursory glance...) does anyone have an idea why my FIP is leaking, from where is it likely to be leaking and has anyone else seen it; done; fixed it; got the T-shirt?
