Handbrake light on

Just developed a problem with the handbrake light staying on, there is no power to the switch either under the handbrake, is there a fuse somewhere that i carnt find or another problem..!!

Try topping yer brake fluid up

And check your brakes pads, nothing fancy but its the 80s way of saying the pads are worn. As the calliper pistons move out the fluid level in the reservoir drops.

Could also be a leak in the brake system somewhere? I had the annoying light come on going up hills. Topped it up, still came on.
Later found it was the pipe that runs along the top of the rear axle, it was originaly to the car and had rusted through and rubbed on the axle.
