Hello from Nebraska in the US

Good morning/evening/night--I have recently become infatuated with owning a Land Cruiser...so haven't yet bought my first one yet. I am really looking for a model that would be great for camping (maybe a pop-up camper conversion at some point) and trail ready even though I haven't yet done any real offloading. I have been looking a lot at mid-1980s US versions but am also interested in an older import Troop Carrier (25 years+).

Right now I drive a standard 2010 Chevy Suburban which is fine for snow, groceries and kids, but not very cool. When I get a Land Cruiser it will serve as an extra/hobby car.

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum, its a great place for advice and opinions based on experience. Mind you, there's nowt wrong with a 'Burb' I run one and I love it as well as a Cruiser. The 'Burb' is deffo better in snow and tows better than a Cruiser but the Cruiser is more refined and better made.
Like Gav said, keep us informed of what you find.
