Incandescent bulb to LED conversions?

Hi all

Any idea how I can convert a known OEM internal bulb to an LED bulb?

I have a 12volt 8 watt bulb that fits in the map lights that I want to convert to an LED fitment - how do I decide what bulb to get?

I just bought some loose HI LED's, assembled them on a piece of Veroboard and wired them into the fitting.

I used these and they were so easy to fit. They come with double sided tape on the back.
The light is very very good. Posted in the UK as well.

I've got something similar to the ones Mal linked to but don't think I paid as much Got 3 set for about a fiver. Very easy to fit.
